The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange in term of trading volume, Binance, announced the launch of Euro trading pairs in 2018. The announcement was made by Binance Chief Executive Officer CZ to Bloomberg. The Malta headquarters will be the start point of the crypto-fiat trading pair. He added also that they were planning to add other fiat trading pairings too.
Most of the cryptocurrency exchanges choose to offer crypto-to-crypto trading pairs due to the limited regulatory restrictions. This move is pioneer for Binance and it is considered as the first move to the exchange the king among cryptocurrency exchanges.
Last March, Binance moved to Malta provided that cryptocurrency exchanges regulations became harder in Japan. Moreover, the exchange is waiting an exchange license from Jersey in the Channel Islands and is scheduling to establish an office there with around 100 staff.
In Q1 2018 Binance made $150 million profit, with daily trading amounting around to $1.4 – $1.5 billion. Lastly, the active user base of the exchange amounts to 9 million users.
